Job Description

The Program Manager oversees the planning and execution of travel programs at Global Service Travels, coordinating with travel agents to create personalized itineraries. Key responsibilities include negotiating vendor contracts, monitoring budgets, and providing support to clients throughout their travel experiences. They ensure programs run on schedule and within budget, addressing any issues that arise.

In addition, the Program Manager manages events for the Global Help Foundation, focusing on youth empowerment and international exposure initiatives. This involves developing programs, fostering partnerships, and collaborating with the marketing team to promote both travel and foundation efforts. This role is essential for delivering impactful experiences for clients and participants.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Travel Programs: Plan, logistics, and execution of travel programs for clients, ensuring seamless experiences.
  • Coordinate Personalized Itineraries: Work with travel agents and tour operators to create customized travel plans tailored to client needs.
  • Negotiate Vendor Contracts: Secure contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and quality services.
  • Manage Program Budgets: Monitor and adjust budgets for travel programs and foundation events as needed to maintain financial efficiency.
  • Provide Client Support: Offer guidance and assistance to clients before, during, and after their trips, addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Handle Emergencies: Be prepared to manage unexpected issues or emergencies during travel programs and foundation events.
  • Conduct Post-Trip Evaluations: Gather feedback from clients to improve the quality of travel programs and events organized by the foundation.
  • Coordinate Events for Global Help Foundation: Plan and manage national and international programs focused on youth empowerment and exposure opportunities.
  • Research and Develop Programs: Stay informed about trends in youth empowerment and travel to create relevant programs for the foundation.
  • Foster Partnerships: Build relationships with local and international organizations to enhance collaboration for foundation events.
  • Create Marketing Strategies: Work with the marketing team to promote both travel programs and foundation initiatives through various channels.
  • Train and Mentor Staff: Provide training and support to junior team members in both travel planning and event management for the foundation.
