Since 1998 Shangri-La Orphanage Home (SOH) supports marginalized children and youths by providing them with an orphanage program and an inclusive school. We are seeking an application from a qualified and experienced Nepali candidate for the position of Program Manager to join our team and provide compassionate and empathetic care to children and teens living/studying in our Shangri-la Orphanage Home, Shangri-la Reintegration Project, Shangri-la Scholarship Project and other new prospective projects in future. The position will be based in Godawari Municipality -10, Neupanegaun, Chapagaun, Lalitpur and will be responsible for all the students under care through different projects.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Shangri-La Orphanage Home and its various project as per its objective, mission and vision and under the guidance of the Executive Committee and Donors.
Manage, supervise, and monitor day to day operation of the organization.
Develop and implement annual plan, budget in coordination with the team members/functional heads, individual project managers, executive committee and donor.
Ensure all reports and compliances have been delivered and met on timely manner.
Manage staff, projects and overall administration of the organization.
Coordinate with regulators (SWC), local authorities and other stake holders of the organization.
Ensure all the compliances have been met
Prepare project proposals and plan for the new projects to be implemented etc.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 5 years

Other Specification

Master's degree in a relevant field must preferably Sociology and Project Management;
Proven experience in project management and leadership roles.
Strong understanding of child protection and welfare.
Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in record-keeping and documentation.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
Experience in staff management and evaluation.
Understanding of community engagement and networking.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
Must be approachable and empathic so children will be comfortable working with you
Excellent communication skills, specifically the ability to communicate with children of different ages and from diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds
Knowledge of government regulations and guidelines.
Good level of computer skills.

Work Hours

10 am to 5 pm (Sunday to Friday)
