Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Coordinate on specific tasks for assigned municipalities
Works closely with selected Youth lead CSOs( YLCs) in strengthening their organizational capacity to be engaged effectively in Local Disaster Resilience (LDR) and other planning processes
Liaison with the municipalities for developing favorable environment for YLCs and Youth responsive policies in CCA/DRR
Contributes in social accountability efforts i.e. social audit and public hearing with the municipalities and community score card with YLCs
Documentation of evidences, progress and case studies. Previous skill of influencing policies, environmental issues, CCA and DRR will be preferred
Coordinate with youth led CSOs in developing advocacy, strategic plan and mentoring for the implementation of advocacy and campaign events
Assist on capacity building of youth led CSOs in the areas of CCA, DRR and advocacy

Qualification:

Bachelors' degrees in social science and related subjects with minimum 4 year experience (Master’s degree preferred with minimum 2 years of relevant work experience)
Additional skills as Nepali typing and experience working in excel worksheet

Note: All the positions are for 1 year, with the possibility of extension depending on funding availability and performance
