Requirements:

  • Proven working experience of 5+ years as Production Operations Manager or other plant executive. 
  • People oriented and results driven. Has hands on approach, is ok to lift and operate equipment in the plant floor.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System, ERP system, Control Systems, CAD drawing tools, capital planning, project cost tracking and forecasting, economic justification analysis and statistical process control. 
  • Demonstrable experience with production operation metrics.
  • Ability to architect line layout and production strategy along with leadership skills.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Bachelors/Master's degree in Engineering or Technical field.


Job Description

Role Brief:

Develop and implement manufacturing, production and operations initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and Quality Management System for a beverage plant. Bridge relation amongst management, equipment manufacturer, operators and mechanics to address product life cycle and supply chain requirements. 

Role Description: 

Our Production Operations Manager for the beverage plant will oversee all aspects of plant production, manufacturing equipment and maintenance plan. This position will also drive activities to achieve cost targets and improve performance skills design job, troubleshoot, recruitment, performance / talent management, training & development, employment cycle changes, efficiency, safety, quality and supply chain capability while ensuring compliance and company quality system objectives. The goal is to aid production of quality product consistently by increasing productivity and improving manufacturing cost. 

Responsibilities:

  • Set Product Mix plan to reduce changeover and downtime.
  • Conduct Lean Principles or necessary research activities to improve productivity.
  • Drive overall supply chain capabilities by managing the plant-wide implementation of TPM, true efficiency, and team development
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement that meets or exceeds expectations. Identify and assess training needs. Monitor training programs.
  • Identify and coordinate improvements in the operations area necessary to meet the variance commitments for the plant and cost objectives. Ensure that cost gaps are identified, action plans developed, and adequate resources allocated to meet all financial objectives.
  • Achieve all safety, quality, cost, delivery, productivity & motivation Key Performance Indicators objectives.
  • Provide a work environment which adheres to all compliance and regulatory guidelines.
  • Evaluate business capabilities, skills, and resource alignment to ensure performance against objectives. Lead realignment and work redesign efforts as necessary to provide executional excellence.
