Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and innovative Product & Packaging Design Manager to develop attractive, practical, and market-oriented packaging designs for the company's food products, including grains, pulses, dry fruits, and spices. The ideal candidate will manage packaging artwork, product labeling, brand consistency, and coordination with production and printing vendors to ensure packaging meets customer expectations, quality standards, and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative packaging designs for grains, pulses, dry fruits, spices, and other food products.
Design product labels, pouches, cartons, packaging artwork, and promotional materials.
Create packaging concepts that align with the company's brand identity and target market.
Manage the design process from concept development to final printing and production.
Ensure product labels contain accurate product information and comply with applicable labeling requirements.
Coordinate with production, quality control, marketing, and procurement teams to finalize packaging designs.
Select suitable packaging formats, materials, colors, and layouts based on product requirements.
Review packaging samples and printed materials to ensure design accuracy and consistency.
Coordinate with printing presses and packaging suppliers regarding artwork, specifications, costs, and delivery schedules.
Research competitor packaging, consumer preferences, and market trends to improve product presentation.
Maintain brand guidelines and design files for existing and new products.
Manage multiple design projects and ensure timely completion.
Identify opportunities to improve packaging appearance, usability, and cost efficiency.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 4 years

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in packaging design, graphic design, or product branding.
Experience in FMCG, food processing, food packaging, manufacturing, or consumer products will be preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or similar design software.
Knowledge of food packaging materials, printing processes, label layouts, and packaging specifications.
Understanding of food product labeling and applicable regulatory requirements in Nepal.
Ability to coordinate with production teams, marketing staff, and external printing vendors.
Strong creativity, attention to detail, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
