Job Description

  • Construction materials, Equipment, Plants and spare parts Identification and sourcing as per the requirement of the specific projects
  • Study/Analysis of the material requisition sent form sites, action on them and follow up with the required most appropriate action needed
  • Record keeping, site wise and vendor wise
  • Maintain the central procurement data base to assist sites procurement procedures
  • Managing vendors, maintain smooth vendor relations regarding deliveries, quality compliance, payments, credit policies, agreements
  • Issue appropriate purchase order against the quotations and requirements follow ups on delivery with vendor, receipt confirmation from sites
  • Control costs and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs.
  • Strong leadership capabilities and interpersonal skill
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Resolving payment issues with vendors and accounts payable
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve annual fixed and supply costs savings
  • Periodic Inventory levels reviews and appropriate actions
  • Assets management/Vehicle maintenance
  • Should have knowledge about procurement act and regulations of Nepal
