Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined Procurement Officer who can assist in managing procurement operations with a strong focus on technical documentation, user coordination, and project-based goods sourcing. The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle multiple projects, communicate effectively in English, and understand the technical requirements of the end users.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with end-users (government agencies) to understand technical and operational requirements for procurement projects.
Communicate with national and international manufacturers/distributors to convey end-user needs into technically sound product specifications.
Work in preparing technical documentation, qualification documentation, and compliance sheets for the application process in securing a supply and delivery project.
Collaborate with internal team members to ensure project timelines are met across multiple active procurement projects.
Facilitate communication and clarification during the procurement project lifecycle—from product inquiry to delivery for the end user.
Frequent visits for post-delivery technical verification and acceptance processes with end-users on their site.
Maintain detailed records and documentation using MS Office.
Travel nationally to attend meetings, inspections, and manufacturer visits as needed.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Academic Background: Completed +2 in Science and recently earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering compulsory.

Experience: Preferable 6 months to 1 year of work experience in a professional environment.

Technical Skills:

Basic understanding of mechanical systems or equipment is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Packages and Basic Graphic Editing Skills.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Work Ethic: Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a team- based environment
Willingness to Travel: Comfortable with occasional national travel as per project needs
Two-Wheeler Driving License preferred
