• Analyse the purchase request from the user departments and determine the appropriate method of procurement
• Inquiring for the products required with appropriate supplier
• Comparison of prices received from different suppliers
• Collections of important details of the supplier, such as the suppliers’ qualifications, delivery times, potential development and products
• Fixing terms and conditions of supply and negotiate the best deal for the company
• Arrange for samples, testing and evaluation of new products
• Advising for Purchase Order with the necessary documents
• Participate in specialized projects and assignments related to procurement, as required
• Contribute to the development and formulation of purchasing procedures and practices as required
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned
• Analyze cost, Web search for new suppliers and vendors
