About OMG Facilitator

OMG Facilitator is a centralized business unit within OMG AU combining the services of Digital Ad Operations, Reporting & BI, Media Systems Support (MSS) and data services via our Datawarehouse (DAWA). OMG Facilitator is also responsible for development of business automation services such as the OMG Master Media Plan (MMP) template.

About the role

The Process Automation Analyst (Excel) role will work predominantly with our RPA Solutions Engineer, with a focus on supporting and developing the latest version of the MMP. Other tasks will include creating ad-hoc excel based reporting solutions for our Reporting & BI team.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

Understand VBA syntax, functions, and procedures, using the macro recorder
1-2 years’ experience writing and debugging VBA code in applications like Microsoft Excel and Outlook (dependent on frequency of use, give examples of usage)
Proficiency in debugging VBA (Stepping through code F8; How to set and use breakpoints F9; Use the Immediate Window for debugging; return information, or execute code; Understand how values are passed or called between procedures and functions)
Can read, understand, and trace formulas, able to determine what each step in the calculation is being returned
1 year experience with Power Query
Understand the M language and how to use the Advanced Editor
Able to identify where errors occur and diagnose what is causing the error
Understand SQL and set connections to data sources
Have strong problem-solving skills, keen to learn, have a good understanding of Office applications
