Mission Statement:

Responsible for testing the functionality and performance of software applications or systems software. Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in software applications and systems software. Ensures software applications or systems software meets technical and functional requirements. Performs work flow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements. Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future modules. A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities typically include: Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager. Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and often complex.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct/participate in bug review and analysis sessions.
• Prepare test plan/schedule/cycle.
• Review and monitor test documents.
• Reviewing and monitoring test scripts/cases.
• Prepare test execution report.
• Perform/Monitor manual/automation test activities.
• Impact/Risk analysis.
• Actively involved in the hiring process.
• Conduct training and grooming sessions.
• Conduct/participate in meetings.
• Perform one-to-one and review process.
• Monitor/Assist the QA-sign-off process.
• Monitor and update the testing status to your reporting manager.
• Mentor junior resources.
• Collaborating closely with the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the reporting manager.
• Analyze the QA process and suggest best practices.
• Assist the Manager and run the team in his/her absence.

Your Background:

• Minimum of bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related IT field.
• More than or equal to 5 years of experience as a Senior.
• Strong knowledge of Bug-tracking tools.
• Strong knowledge of Version control system.
• Strong knowledge of Automation testing tools (Like JMeter, Selenium, Postman, etc.).
• Strong technical documentation and analytical skills.
• Ability to self-drive/lead test activities.
• Ability to contribute to QA process improvement.
• Good communications skills.
• Project/test support tools.
• Demonstration/Presentation skills.
• Leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of testing tools.
