Job Description

We are seeking a motivated candidate to join our team as a Primary School Teacher for Grade 1-5 at Kathmandu World School. As a Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students.s. In this role, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide young minds, and make a positive impact on our students' academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Teaching & Curriculum Implementation

Plan and deliver engaging lessons as per the curriculum.
Use interactive and student-centered teaching methods to enhance learning.
Ensure that all subjects are taught effectively, including English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Nepali.
Integrate digital tools and resources to enhance classroom learning.

2. Student Learning & Development

Monitor and assess student progress through classwork, assignments, and exams.
Provide additional support to students who need extra assistance.
Encourage a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and curiosity.
Promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.

3. Classroom & Behavior Management

Maintain discipline and order in the classroom while fostering a respectful and engaging environment.
Encourage positive behavior and social skills development.
Implement school policies related to student discipline and well-being.

4. Communication & Parent Engagement

Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behavior.
Conduct parent-teacher meetings and provide feedback on student performance.

Prepare and conduct formative and summative assessments as per school guidelines.
