Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Primary School Incharge is responsible for the effective academic and administrative management of the Primary Section. The role ensures quality teaching, smooth daily operations, student development, and positive engagement with teachers and parents in alignment with the school’s vision and academic standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the academic planning and implementation for primary classes.
Supervise, mentor, and support primary teachers to ensure effective classroom practices.
Monitor student academic progress, attendance, and overall development.
Ensure discipline, safety, and a nurturing learning environment.
Coordinate assessments, examinations, and preparation of academic records.
Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback to teachers.
Communicate with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
Implement school policies, board guidelines, and academic calendars.
Support school events, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
Coordinate with the Principal and other departments for smooth functioning.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership, coordination, or supervisory role.
Knowledge of educational technology, digital teaching tools, and modern pedagogies.
Understanding of child psychology, learning difficulties, and inclusive education.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to mentor teachers and foster professional development.
