Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Primary Level Computer Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging and age-appropriate computer education to primary-level students while promoting digital literacy, creativity, and safe technology practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver Computer Science lessons for primary-level students.
Teach foundational computer skills, including typing, MS Office, internet usage, and digital literacy.
Introduce students to basic computational thinking and educational technology.
Develop interactive classroom activities and project-based learning experiences.
Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
Prepare lesson plans and maintain academic records.
Integrate technology into teaching and learning activities.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of computer lab equipment.
Promote responsible and safe use of technology among students.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management, Computer Education, or a related field.
Prior teaching experience at the primary level will be preferred.
Strong knowledge of computer applications, educational technology, and digital learning tools.
Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
Good command of spoken and written English with the ability to teach effectively in English.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Passion for teaching and supporting the holistic development of young learners.
