Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Pre-School Teacher is responsible for fostering the intellectual, social, and emotional development of young children, typically ages 3-5. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and develop foundational skills through play and structured activities. The teacher will design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, observe and assess children's progress, and work closely with parents to support each child's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Implement creative and hands-on activities to encourage learning through play, exploration, and discovery.
Foster communication skills by encouraging verbal expression and active listening.
Promote social skills, such as sharing, cooperation, and conflict resolution, through group activities.
Observe and assess children's individual progress and development, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on children's progress and development.
Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive behavior and self-regulation.
Ensure classroom materials and resources are organized, clean, and age-appropriate.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent, with a teaching certification in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.

Experience:

Proven 2 years’ experience working with young children in a Preschool or Early childhood setting preferred.
Experience using a variety of teaching methodologies and resources, including interactive and digital tools.

Skills:

Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create a positive, engaging, and safe classroom environment.
