Pre-School Teacher

The Pre-School Teacher is responsible for fostering the intellectual, social, and emotional development of young children, typically ages 3-5. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can explore, learn, and develop foundational skills through play and structured activities. The teacher will design and implement age-appropriate lesson plans, observe and assess children's progress, and work closely with parents to support each child's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
• Implement creative and hands-on activities to encourage learning through play, exploration, and discovery.
• Foster communication skills by encouraging verbal expression and active listening.
• Promote social skills, such as sharing, cooperation, and conflict resolution, through group activities.
• Observe and assess children's individual progress and development, adjusting teaching strategies as needed.
• Maintain open communication with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates on children's progress and development.
• Implement behavior management strategies that promote positive behavior and self-regulation.
• Ensure classroom materials and resources are organized, clean, and age-appropriate.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or equivalent, with a teaching certification in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.

Experience:

• Proven 2 years’ experience working with young children in a Preschool or Early childhood setting preferred.
• Experience using a variety of teaching methodologies and resources, including interactive and digital tools.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education best practices.
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create a positive, engaging, and safe classroom environment.
