It pioneered the concept of royalty payments to artists and creators of music by paying a fixed percentage of sales revenue of their albums. This encouraged creation and helped in the exponential growth of the industry. The growth was driven especially by the popularity of Dohori and Folk Songs of different parts of the country. Music Nepal also played a catalytic role in developing Copyright Law and over the years has joined hands with numerous stake holders to strengthen the copyright regime in the country.

  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a post-production environment, studio, or media agency. Experience in a coordinator role with proven track record  is highly preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to manage and oversee the entire post-production process, ensuring seamless collaboration between creative teams, technical teams, and clients. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of post-production workflows, and the ability to deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all stages of post-production, including editing, color grading, sound design, and visual effects.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between producers, editors, and external vendors to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
  • Maintain quality control across all output, ensuring alignment with brand and client expectations.
  • Oversee media asset management, file organization, and proper archiving of all project materials.
  • Utilize project management tools (Asana, Trello, or similar) to track progress and communicate updates.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to scheduling, resources, or technical challenges.
