We are seeking a dynamic and client-focused Relationship Manager for the Portfolio Management Department. Reporting directly to the Head of Department, the Relationship Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for portfolio clients, ensuring investment strategies align with client goals while maintaining exceptional service standards. This role involves close collaboration with investment and operations teams to optimize client portfolio performance and enhance satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with assigned PMS clients through consistent communication and superior service.
- Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and financial planning discussions to ensure client objectives are being achieved.
- Address client inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Educate clients about portfolio performance, investment decisions, and relevant economic conditions.
Portfolio Oversight
- Collaborate with the research team, investment head, and department head to ensure alignment of investment strategies with clients' financial objectives and risk profiles.
- Monitor client portfolios regularly for performance, risk exposure, and deviations from the agreed mandate.
- Recommend rebalancing or strategy adjustments when necessary, supported by market analysis and data.
- Proactively inform clients of significant portfolio or market developments.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue opportunities to introduce additional investment products and services suited to client needs.
- Support business growth through client referrals, networking, and strategic outreach initiatives.
- Assist in onboarding new clients by effectively presenting the firm’s value proposition and PMS offerings.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Adhere to all regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and ethical standards in client interactions and investment advice.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client communications, agreements, and service records, particularly for non-discretionary clients.
- Report any irregularities, conflicts of interest, or suspicious activities to the compliance or reporting authority.
Reporting & Coordination with Operations
- Prepare and deliver timely investment reports, portfolio summaries, and market updates to clients.
- Coordinate closely with the operations team to ensure smooth transaction execution, accurate reporting, and prompt client servicing.
- Support operational activities such as client onboarding, data updates, and compliance checks.
