Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to join our innovative team. As an Plant Manager, you will play a critical role in leading our operation and management of solar power plant, focusing on achieving organizational goal.

Responsibilities:

As an Plant Manager, you will:

Responsible for overall management of operation and maintenance of the plant including transmission line with professional attitude.
Control and Fluently Operation of Solar Power Plant
Monitor Power Plant equipment and indicators to detect evidence of operating problems
Control generator output to match the phase, frequency and voltage of electricity supplied
Control and Fluently operation of Invertor, switchyard and other auxiliary machines of Solar Power Plant
Inspect records or log book entries or communicate with plant personnel to assess equipment operating status
Communicate with system operators to regulate discharge for power generation and coordinate line voltage and transmission loads and frequencies.
Prepare various reports to be submitted to various authorities.
Implement the instruction provided by senior management regarding the operation of solar power plant.

Required Skills and Expertise:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from recognized university.
Experience: 5+ years of experience as a plant manager in solar power/hydropower projects or other similar project.

Jhapa Energy Limited(JEL) is public limited company, established on Ashwin 16, 2075 under Company Act, 2063, with the objective of development and operation of solar power project; hydroelectricity project. Its registered office is located at Birtamode-04, Jhapa with contract office at Pingalasthan-08, Kathmandu. JEL has developed Grid Connected Solar Power Project( 10 M.W.) located at Shivasaktashi 04 Jhapa. Since the project has obtained the commercial operation date(COD) on Magh 10, 2080 , the company has been generating and selling electricity to Nepal Electricity Authority from its COD. The Project is developed on (21-11-9.5) bighas of land. The company has purchased (10-17-18.5) bighas of land under the name of Jhapa Energy Limited and remaining land (10-13-11) bighas under the name of Jhapa Agro Industry, which is wholly owned subsidiary of JEL. The License period of the project is 25 years. The Project is the biggest solar power project entirely in Koshi Pradesh.
