Job Description

CE Construction is seeking experienced Planning Engineers to join our team for our latest project, the Super Trishuli Hydro Power Project. As a senior-level Planning Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful planning and execution of this 100MW hydro power project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using tools such as MS Project.
  • Define project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and integrate it with the projects master plan.
  • Prepare and update baseline schedules, identify critical paths, and manage key milestones.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, and construction teams to align project schedules.
  • Analyze resource requirements and optimize resource leveling for manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Forecast resource needs and identify potential constraints.
  • Collaborate with civil, hydromechanical, and electromechanical teams to ensure synchronization of activities.
  • Facilitate communication between contractors, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Prepare and present reports to project stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Identify risks related to project scheduling, delays, and resources.
  • Develop and implement mitigation strategies to avoid schedule slippage.
  • Ensure project schedules comply with contractual and technical specifications.
  • Maintain documentation of planning activities, including approvals, revisions, and meeting records.
