Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Assist the physiotherapist in providing patient care and carrying out treatment plans.
Create a comfortable and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions.
Help patients with exercises and activities as prescribed by the physiotherapist.
Monitor and record patient progress and report to the physiotherapist.
Prepare equipment and tools for therapy sessions and ensure they are well-maintained.
Educate and guide patients on proper body mechanics and self-care techniques.
Provide support and assistance to patients with mobility challenges.
Maintain accurate and organized patient records.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated patient care.
Stay updated on the latest techniques and developments in physiotherapy.
Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control measures.
Uphold patients' confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than or equal to 1 year

Other Specification

Minimum 1 year of experience as a physiotherapy assistant.
Bachelors degree in Physiotherapy or related field
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver patients.
Proficient in using physiotherapy equipment and tools.
Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
