Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and motivated Scrub Technician / OT Technician to join our team at Aarogya Meditech (P) Ltd.

The ideal candidate will assist surgeons during Arthroscopy and other orthopedic procedures, ensuring proper preparation, handling, and availability of surgical instruments, implants, and OT equipment. We welcome both freshers with relevant academic knowledge and experienced candidates who are passionate about building a career in orthopedic healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist surgeons during Arthroscopy surgeries.
Prepare and maintain a sterile operation theatre.
Handle surgical instruments and implants.
Ensure smooth coordination with surgeons and OT staff.
Maintain OT protocols and infection control standards.
Ensure proper availability, handling, and preparation of Arthroscopy instruments and implants before and during surgery.
Be available for surgeries as per the hospital schedule and demonstrate flexibility when required.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Diploma Certificate

Required Experience:Less than 1 year

Other Specification

Health Assistant, OT Assistant or similar qualification or equivalent.
Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
Experience in Orthopedic, Arthroscopy or Joint Replacement surgeries will be preferred.
Freshers possessing academic knowledge of Operation Theatre procedures, surgical instruments, orthopedic implants, sterilization methods, and infection control protocols are encouraged to apply.

Skills Required:

Good knowledge of Arthroscopy surgical instruments and implants.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to emergency cases.
Willingness to travel to hospitals.

Note:

Must possess a personal two-wheeler and a valid driving license.
Must be willing and flexible to travel to any part of Nepal as and when required, depending on business and surgical requirements.
