• Ensure the smooth operation of all machines and to attend the breakdowns without any delay to achieve the targeted line efficiency.        
• Assigning tasks to operators and workers pertaining to maintenance & servicing and supervise the work to get maximum work done.
• Coordinating with Maintenance unit and ensuring preventive maintenance work and ensuring regular maintenance works of machinery and conveyors are carried out as per plan.
• Assisting the packaging Incharges of packaging plant during production to get maximum output
• Record all the breakdowns, problems, repair & maintenance during the shift & report to supervisor. 
• Ensure the safety of subordinates while undertaking any jobs by instructing them to use safety gear and follow safety measures as per the company health & safety policy 
• Preparing store requisitions and purchase requisitions for spare parts and issues to inventory in time.  
• Ensure preventive maintenance plans are carried out on time & report to supervisor for implementation to avoid sudden breakdowns.
