Nava Dristi Eye Hospital, a growing eye hospital in eastern Nepal located at Itahari, the center of province no. 1 is seeking for an application from qualified Nepali candidates (aged 22-35)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct eye exams using optometric equipment and general diagnostic interpretation.
• Maintain patient records.
• Prescribe medications to treat ocular diseases and disorders.
• Check patients for signs of diseases and refer them to other specialists when needed.
• Proficiency with modern eye care techniques and equipment
• Strong communication, listening skills
• Discuss the suitability and shape of glasses frames.
• Refer clients to specialists or ophthalmologists
• Prescribe, fit, and adjust eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.
• Recommend appropriate patient follow-up and care options.
• Answer questions and provide advice to patients regarding vision and optical issues.
• Deliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactions.
• Applied understanding of general principles of optometry and best practices for the diagnosis and treatment of eye-related disorders and conditions
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to relate to patients of diverse backgrounds
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Basic computer proficiency
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and multitasking ability

Requirement and Competency:

•  Registered in NHPC
• Preference will be given to experience candidate
