It pioneered the concept of royalty payments to artists and creators of music by paying a fixed percentage of sales revenue of their albums. This encouraged creation and helped in the exponential growth of the industry. The growth was driven especially by the popularity of Dohori and Folk Songs of different parts of the country. Music Nepal also played a catalytic role in developing Copyright Law and over the years has joined hands with numerous stake holders to strengthen the copyright regime in the country.

Job Description

As an Operations Officer, you will play an integral role in the planning, uploading, and publishing of our content at different operator services of Music Nepal. You are responsible for arranging quality content for upload to different national and international platforms. It requires an in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within workflow as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the business.

Responsibilities of the Operation Officer

Work closely with the in charge to oversee daily operations, acting as second-in-command and taking care of regular duties.
Develop creative strategies to keep the consumer, such as being more interactive with the client to get their input and feedback and incorporating it into the growth plan.
Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize the task, and plan to upload a process of content from multiple sources under the sales platforms of Music Nepal.
Candidates must have effective documentation and reporting skills for the daily activities
Assisting the immediate supervisor or line manager with operational issues.
Excellent communication with a strong positive attitude for growth.
Able to handle and work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to work under pressure and fulfil deadline.
To perform any other task and duties assigned by a senior or supervisor.
