Job Description

Position Reports To: Directors

As an Operations Manager you should have a vast understanding of all the inner workings of the resort, monitor the overall operations and the performance of the departments. You should have strong leadership skills and a high level of responsibility and accountability. You should be an expert in managing, organizing and optimizing all the departments and its staff members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining full knowledge of all inner workings of the resort, including room rates, discount policies, specials, availabilities, VIP guests, hotel events and more
  • Staffing the hotel appropriately and efficiently
  • Reviewing employee behavior, appearance and performance 
  • Train and motivate head of departments so their performance remains stable
  • Establish and maintain standards for staff performance and customer service
  • Represent the resort in various events and exhibition, as well as being the central point of contact within the property in case of emergencies
  • Conducting daily meetings to ensure that all departments are in working order
  • Developing and implementing strategies that will ensure a positive experience that exceeds guest’s expectations
  • Work collaboratively with all department managers to make sure operations are running smoothly
  • Anticipate all guest needs and respond promptly & accordingly
