We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to lead our Kathmandu office and oversee the daily operations related to foreign employment activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team, streamlining operations, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management:  

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of recruitment specialists, coordinators, and support staff.
  • Oversee staff performance and ensure the team meets business and operational goals.
  • Develop training programs and assist in the professional development of team members.

Operations & Process Optimization:  

  • Oversee daily office operations, ensuring smooth processing of foreign employment applications and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with the Labour Department's policies and regulations for foreign employment.
  • Streamline operational processes to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Client Relationship Management:  

  • Maintain strong relationships with international clients, recruitment partners, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure excellent customer service for both prospective workers and employers abroad.
  • Resolve any issues or concerns related to foreign employment placements.

Regulatory Compliance & Documentation: 

  • Ensure all recruitment practices are compliant with Nepalese government regulations (Labour Act) and international standards.
  • Manage the documentation process for all workers seeking foreign employment.
  • Regularly liaise with government departments, embassies, and labor organizations to ensure up-to-date compliance.

Financial Management:  

  • Monitor operational budgets and control costs to ensure financial health and profitability.
  • Oversee and manage office expenditures, payroll, and other operational costs.
  • Prepare financial reports and provide recommendations to senior management.

Business Development & Growth:  

  • Identify new markets and opportunities for business growth within the foreign employment sector.
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and expand the business.

Reporting & Performance Tracking: 

  • Generate and present regular reports to senior management regarding office performance, recruitment statistics, and financial outcomes.
  • Track KPIs and adjust strategies to meet targets and ensure operational excellence.

  • Expertise in Foreign Employment: The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Nepal’s foreign employment laws, the recruitment process, and the international labor market. Familiarity with government regulations and procedures is essential.
