Brihat Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager for our Construction and Technical Department. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing construction projects, coordinating with vendors and subcontractors, and leading a team of staff members. This role demands strong managerial skills, strategic planning, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Vendor and Subcontractor Coordination: Deal with vendors and subcontractors to ensure the quality and timely delivery of services and materials. Negotiate contracts and manage relationships.
- Staff Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
- Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity. Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary.
- Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols. Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on project status, financials, and operational metrics. Present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Administrative Oversight: Manage administrative functions including scheduling, documentation, and record-keeping. Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Policy Implementation: Develop and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency across the department.
- Communication: Facilitate clear and effective communication within the team and with external partners. Address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management or a related field, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Project Management or Management. Master’s degree is a plus.
