Job Description

As Outpace continues to expand and grow its client base, we are looking for an experienced  Operations Manager to join our team. The hybrid role requires an individual who can help with managing people and projects, ensuring all deliverables and deadlines are met on time with the highest quality as well as helping the leadership team with strategic decision making. This candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy learning and problem-solving, have good communication, analytical, and logical skills, a POV, and a clear vision to succeed.

Core Responsibilities:

  • The operations manager is primarily responsible for ensuring team members are aware of upcoming deadlines, if they have all of the necessary resources, and if they need any help from their team lead. These efforts will result in meeting deadlines and generating positive client results.
  • Work with the leadership team to identify opportunities/problems, research strategies, and outline solutions.
  • Understand and reiterate the “why” behind each task. Completing mindless tasks can be mundane and wears individuals down. Meaningful work starts when team members understand how their contributions lead to results for our clients.
  • Review and report on the output across SEO and web teams.
  • Directly work with team members to correct a lack of urgency, performance, or responsiveness.
  • Consistently update Notion to ensure deadlines are being met.
  • Work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines with a sense of urgency.
  • Quickly adjust priorities to respond to pressing demands.
  • Help shortlist top talent. This would include writing the initial job descriptions, reviewing candidates, interviewing candidates alongside team leads.
  • Responsible for scheduling team events and retaining company culture.
  • Understand the entire pipeline across the web and SEO teams.
  • Other operations related duties as assigned

Experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, IT or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of operations management or project management experience
  • Excellent Project Management skills and the ability to lead and manage detailed, time-sensitive initiatives in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Able to interface and cooperate seamlessly with a global team, adapting to international time constraints where appropriate.
  • Prior leadership experience is a plus.
