Other Specification

Bachelor degree with minimum 1-2 years’ experience of Operation Manager/Executives in a reputed freight forwarding and/or logistics environment with an understanding of Ocean, Air Freight imports and export procedures and booking, inland road and rail distribution and customs clearance experience.

Desired Qualities:

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Hindi.
Proven ability to work effectively with numbers, data, details and processes.
Intermediate level skill in MS Word and MS Excel.

Job Description

Provide accurate and timely reporting of information to customers including sending quotations, pricing, costing, shipping details and supply chain related documentation.
Negotiating contracts, transportation and handling costs.
Liaising with third parties to move goods (by road, rail, air or sea) in accordance with customer requirements.
Process the shipment accurately and efficiently,
Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs and insurance requirements, packing specifications, and compliance with overseas countries’ regulations and fiscal regimes.
Retaining current customers and identifying additional opportunities with existing customers.
Work closely with accounting department in book keeping of credit, accounts payables and receivables.
