Job Description

  • Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
  • Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales
  • Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
  • Plan, organize, control, manage and evaluate the work of the Purchasing Division
  • Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
  • Organizing special promotions, displays and events;
  • Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues;
  • Monitor the performance like personnel management, beverage and foods and other services and make sure that there is smooth running of customer service areas and satisfaction.
  • Take the monthly inventories with the suppliers and maintain an optimal stock level so as to meet the customer's demand.
  • Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing;
  • Manage the different departments of a Mart in order to ensure it reaches sales objectives.
  • Submit sales report on three months basis
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
  • Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
  • Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
  • Perform cost scenario analysis and benchmarking
  • Assess, manage and mitigate risks
  • Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
  • Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
  • Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
  • Respond to various inquiries from internal and external sources for providing information, direction and appropriate referrals.
  • Building Customer Relationship
  • Achieving the Outlet’s Sales target by analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
  • Maintain the stock availability, product display, staff mobilization and staff motivation
  • Proper handling of customers query and feedback 
  • Reporting discrepancies and problems to senior authority
  • Overall management of store operation
