Job Description

Managing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control
Analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales
Managing and motivating a team to increase sales and ensure efficiency
Plan, organize, control, manage and evaluate the work of the Purchasing Division
Ensuring standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met
Organizing special promotions, displays and events;
Updating colleagues on business performance, new initiatives and other pertinent issues;
Monitor the performance like personnel management, beverage and foods and other services and make sure that there is smooth running of customer service areas and satisfaction.
Take the monthly inventories with the suppliers and maintain an optimal stock level so as to meet the customer's demand.
Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what local competitors are doing;
Manage the different departments of a Mart in order to ensure it reaches sales objectives.
Submit sales report on three months basis
Supply Chain Management
Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
Partner with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
Perform cost scenario analysis and benchmarking
Assess, manage and mitigate risks
Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
Respond to various inquiries from internal and external sources for providing information, direction and appropriate referrals.
Building Customer Relationship
Achieving the Outlet’s Sales target by analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
Maintain the stock availability, product display, staff mobilization and staff motivation
Proper handling of customers query and feedback
Reporting discrepancies and problems to senior authority
Overall management of store operation
