Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and highly skilled Engineer to join our team. The candidate will perform a variety of solar projects. The Candidate shall hold at least Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering/Electronics Engineering from a leading university, have excellent writing, communication , and presentation skills, and must have experience of at least 2 years in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Engineering Responsibilities:

Survey & Design: Conduct surveys and design PV rooftops, solar mini-grids, and solar irrigation pumps. Perform pre- and detailed feasibility studies, including BOQ, cost estimations, and construction documents.
Structural Analysis: Perform structural analysis and create detailed system drawings using software tools like AutoCAD, ETABS, and SAP as per standards.
Technical Due Diligence: Monitor solar system generation data, perform technical analysis, and prepare detailed reports on system performance.
Tender & Documentation Support: Assist with preparation of tenders, technical documentation, and other reports as required.
Feasibility Studies: Conduct pre-site assessments, including identifying potential risks, site conditions, and environmental considerations.

Operations Engineering Responsibilities:

Site Assessment: Conduct detailed site assessments of solar systems according to project application and scope. Prepare project implementation plans and mobilize site materials and installation teams.
Installation, Monitoring, and Commissioning: Supervise technicians during the installation process to ensure all work is performed to high standards. Oversee the commissioning process and ensure projects are completed successfully.
Quality Control & Reporting: Ensure installation works follow construction drawings and guidelines. Prepare project completion reports and provide feedback on any design improvements.
After-Sales Support: Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving any after-sales technical issues. Document actions taken and assist in implementing solutions.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field from a leading university.
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a technical field related to solar energy, electrical systems, or construction engineering.

Skills:

Strong analytic, writing, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and engineering design software (AutoCAD, ETABS, SAP, etc.).
Familiarity with solar energy systems, including grid connection and solar installations.
Ability to produce clear and concise reports for a variety of audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Other Requirements:

Travel: Willingness to travel to remote areas for site assessments, installation, and support activities.
License: Must hold a valid two-wheeler license for site visits and transportation.

Note: We are seeking two experienced candidates and two fresher candidates for the position of Operations Engineer.
