Music Nepal was established in 1982, under the Industrial Act of Nepal, as the first music industry in the country. It pioneered the concept of royalty payments to artists and creators of music by paying a fixed percentage of sales revenue of their albums. This encouraged creation and helped in the exponential growth of the industry. The growth was driven especially by the popularity of Dohori and Folk Songs of different parts of the country. Music Nepal also played a catalytic role in developing Copyright Law and over the years has joined hands with numerous stake holders to strengthen the copyright regime in the country.

Job Description

As an Operations Officer, you will play an integral role in the planning, uploading and publishing of our content at different operator services of Music Nepal. You are responsible for creating quality content for upload for different national and international platforms. It requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within work-flow as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the business.

Responsibilities of Operation officer

Need to work on different national & internationals platforms to upload audio, video, movies, playlists, shuffle content, update catalogue and create banners on a weekly basis and shuffle old playlist if needed.
Communicate with the operator's team for any issues and updates as well as communicate with concern parties of organization.
Maintain Compile file of all the working projects.
Communicate with internal & external teams on any issues on app backend/UI.
Create quarterly progress reports of the projects task.
Responsible for production plan & effective reporting skills and documentation of the daily activities that are easily understood by others (SOP).
Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize the task and planning to upload a process of content at multiple sources.
Able to communicate organizational needs, oversee employee performance, support, identify development needs and manage the equal relationship between staff and organization.
Able to handle a team of employees and make sure that employees complete their work efficiently and on time.
Maintain proper relation with the vendors for smooth and long term partnership.
To perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor / senior.
