Roles and responsibilities of this job
We are looking for a highly driven and execution-focused professional to lead and support the expansion and operational management of Gogoro’s battery swapping network in Kathmandu. The role combines strategic planning, field operations, partnerships, infrastructure coordination, and network growth execution across existing and upcoming cities.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working across both strategy and on-ground operations, coordinating with multiple stakeholders while ensuring efficient rollout and maintenance of swapping infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
1. Network Expansion & Site Development
Identify, evaluate, and finalize potential locations for Gogoro battery swapping stations.
Conduct site feasibility studies including accessibility, power availability, visibility, and customer convenience.
Coordinate with landlords, commercial partners, and property owners for station deployment.
Support network rollout planning across Kathmandu Valley.
Maintain pipeline tracking for upcoming station locations and deployment timelines.
2. Partnership & Stakeholder Management
Build and maintain relationships with property owners, businesses, and strategic partners.
Coordinate with government bodies, local wards, utility offices, and regulatory stakeholders when required.
Manage communication and onboarding for network partners.
Represent the company during partner meetings, negotiations, and operational discussions.
3. Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of battery swapping stations.
Monitor station uptime, operational efficiency, and maintenance schedules.
Develop and maintain operational tracking systems for all network locations.
Coordinate with technical and field teams to resolve operational issues efficiently.
Ensure stations meet company standards for functionality, cleanliness, and accessibility.
4. Infrastructure & Utility Coordination
Coordinate electrical infrastructure requirements including meter upgrades and utility approvals.
Liaise with utility providers and contractors during installation and maintenance activities.
Track infrastructure readiness and ensure timely completion of deployment requirements.
5. Strategic Planning & Execution
Assist in network growth strategy and expansion planning.
Analyze operational data and station performance trends to improve efficiency.
Support market research, competitor analysis, and customer behavior studies.
Contribute to long-term operational scalability and network optimization initiatives.
