Job Description

Himalayan Capital Limited, a subsidiary of Himalayan Bank Ltd., is seeking for a dynamic, and self-motivated individual at Officer level, Corporate Advisory Department.

Designation:

Level : Mid-Level (Jr. Officer to Sr. Officer)
Department : Corporate Advisory
Reports to : Head of Department
Work Location : Himalayan Capital Limited, Corporate Office

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Drive the overall Business Growth and Operational aspects of the department and support the HOD in achieving business as well as operational targets.
  • Analyse business model of clients and improve upon and create a streamlined concept documentation.
  • Analyse financial and operational information and prepare analysis report.
  • Prepare business plan for the purpose of acquisition of financing through either debt or equity.
  • Prepare proposals for investment, restructuring, financing, and other advisory services.
  • Conduct Due Diligence Assessment on behalf of client companies for M&A and Investments.
  • Negotiate with clients regarding terms of advisory services and services fees.
  • Ensure smooth execution of advisory services in coordination with the clients by holding/ participating in negotiation, entrance, coordination, and exit meetings.
  • Solicit business for the function.
  • Ensure regulatory reporting of the department with the regulators.
  • Carry out internal research and development projects for the organization to strengthen organizational knowledge base and prepare reports and proposals for the same.

Skills, Education and Work Experience Requirements

Skills Required

  • Extensive interpersonal and institutional communication and networking skills.
  • Strong integrity, innovation, and intuitive skills.
  • Creative problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of company, taxation, FDI, and other prevailing laws and regulation.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.

Education

  • Master’s Degree in the field of Finance/Economics/Research (Professional qualification of Chartered Accountancy (CA/ACCA) from ICAN or equivalent body will be an added merit)

Work experience

  • Demonstrated experience of at least 3 years in relative field, candidates having exposure/experience of project financing in Banks and Financial Institutions shall be prioritized.

Salary and Benefits

The Annual Cost to Company (A-CTC) for this position will range between NPR 615,000 – NPR 1,240,000. The Benefits associated with the position are as below:

  • Allowances: General Allowance, Communication Allowance, Fuel Allowance, Festive Allowance and Force Leave Allowance.
  • Insurance: Medical and Accidental Insurance, Life Insurance under Endowment Scheme and Critical Illness Coverage.
  • Others: Leaves, Retirement Benefits and Bonuses as per Labor Act.
