Minimum Qualification:

  • SLC (SEE) + three (3) years course in PCL Nursing from CTEVT/Nepalese University
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience
  • Must have certificates of Nepal Health Nursing Council

Working Arrangement

  • The work station is Bodgaun Medical Centre, Sindupalchowk
  • You need to stay at least 25 days per month in working station
  • The running hours of Medical Centre is from 9:00 to 17:00 with an hour of Lunch break in mid-day. But, the center accepts emergency cases at any hour. You will have other support staffs to perform in those cases

Roles

  • To provide emergency care of the critical patients and take care of in-patients round the clock
  • To provide the first care of critical patients before the clinician arrived in emergency department
  • Obey the clinicians order, maintain the chart properly and report any complaints from patients 
  • Welcome the patients with smile, manage the bed, drinking water, checks weight, blood pressure, temperature, Respiratory rate, Oxygen concentration in blood
  • Send the diet requisition, records general condition, informs the doctor about the admission and answers queries of the patients and observe about meals
  • Visits the room, greets, gives sponge bath, change clothes, change the pillow cover and bed sheet if needs, checks the vitals, administer medicines etc
  • Make the round with doctor, maintain the round book, input output chart as and when necessary
  • Send the patients for X-Ray, urine, blood, stool specimens as per requirement
  • Inform the patients and patient parties about discharge policy, ask to collect the bill and pay, help to collect home medicines from pharmacy. Provide the discharge slip, teach them about their disease, the drugs administration technique, what they have to careful, when they have to come in follow up, check the hospital belongings, and accompany the patients to the exit door, enters the patients name, accurate time and discharge 
  • Disinfects and prepares the bed for the next patients
