Key Responsibilities:
- Student Counselling: Provide exceptional and professional counselling services tailored to New Zealand educational opportunities.
- Target Achievement: Meet assigned targets for student leads, applications, and final placements in New Zealand institutions.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with Nepalese students by offering genuine guidance and support.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all application processes for New Zealand educational institutions.
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to a productive and collaborative team environment.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Target Fulfillment: Achieve set targets for leads, applications, and final placements within designated New Zealand intake periods.
- Knowledge Proficiency: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the New Zealand education system, including types of institutions, program options, and application procedures.
- Service Excellence: Consistently deliver high-level service to Nepalese students seeking New Zealand placements and New Zealand client institutions.
Student Services:
- Information Accuracy: Provide accurate, unbiased, and up-to-date information on New Zealand institutions, courses, and Interface Education services.
- Expectation Management: Manage student expectations regarding Interface Education's role in admissions and visa applications for New Zealand.
- Effective Communication: Keep students informed about their application status and promptly communicate offer or rejection letters.
- Visa Guidance: Assist students in preparing accurate and timely visa documentation.
Destination Client Services:
- Relationship Development: Cultivate positive relationships with representatives from New Zealand educational institutions.
- Conversion Rates: Focus on achieving high conversion rates from applicants to confirmed enrollments in New Zealand institutions.
- Seminar Conducting: Optionally conduct informative seminars on scholarships, living in New Zealand, and other relevant topics.
- Pre-departure Preparation: Organize seminars to prepare students for their New Zealand study experience.
- Liaison: Coordinate with relevant authorities to resolve issues related to student visa documentation for New Zealand placements.
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in education, counselling, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a student counselling or placement role, ideally with a focus on New Zealand placements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Nepali and English.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for education and supporting Nepalese students in achieving their educational goals in New Zealand.
