Good understanding of the OSI and TCP/IP Model.
Experience in configuring Cisco/Huawei/Juniper routers and switches etc.
Hands on working experience on multi-vendor firewalls like Sopho/ Fortinet/Cisco etc.
Experience on SDN Technology preferably on VMware NSX Platform.
Candidates having certifications like CCNA / CCNP / VCP / NSE4 / HCNA / JNCIA will definitely get an additional advantage.

Job Description

Install and configure Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load balancers, and VPN devices for the IT network infrastructure setup
Implement redundancy and failover to maintain high availability of the customers network and system IT infrastructure
Use network monitoring tools (Solarwinds, Nagios, PRTG etc.) to monitor IT infrastructure performance and uptime, and ensure compliance with SLAs
Manage and follow troubleshooting best practices and procedures to resolve problems promptly, efficiently
Documentation and report preparation of incident and resolution techniques for future reference.
Collaborate with the company's IT security team to select and implement security tools, policies, and procedures.
Implement Virtualized network services, such as virtual routers and firewalls specifically VMware NSX platform.
Proactively collaborate with vendors and customers for support service and issue resolution.
Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and best practices.
Participate in training and certification programs related to networking and SDN.
Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, troubleshooting procedures.
Take part in in-house training sessions to empower internal resources.
