Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Nepali Teacher for Lower Secondary and Secondary levels who can deliver high-quality instruction, promote academic excellence, and support the overall development of students. The ideal candidate will be passionate, patient, and committed to fostering an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver effective lesson plans aligned with national curriculum and school standards
Teach Nepali language and literature to Lower Secondary and Secondary level students
Prepare assessments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback
Maintain discipline and create a positive, respectful classroom environment
Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and creativity
Provide additional support to students who need extra academic assistance
Maintain accurate academic records and handle related administrative tasks
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress
Participate actively in school meetings, events, and professional development programs
Support co-curricular and extracurricular activities
Assist in mentoring, training, and guiding new or trainee teachers when required

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the secondary level
Strong command of Nepali language (spoken and written)
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Classroom, and educational technologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong classroom management and problem-solving abilities
Patience, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Ability to handle sensitive topics and promote an inclusive learning environment
Passion for teaching and commitment to continuous professional development
