Howard Delafield International, LLP (HDI) is a behavioural insights consultancy, working around the globe and driving innovation to positively impact lives. We have built a direct-to-consumer (DTC) digital platform for mobile games using discovery and play to empower young people to become active decision-makers in their own lives. If this sounds like something exciting that you want to be a part of, we welcome qualified applicants to join our highly creative and innovative team.

We are part of a USAID award for an Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) project led by CARE in collaboration with National Health Education, Information and Communication Center (NHEICC). HDI will create a youth-centric portal with multiple channels to reach adolescents to address agency and self-efficacy for adoption of healthy behaviours and to facilitate adolescents’ reproductive empowerment.

The successful candidate will aim to engage both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations and their related products and services in a hybrid on-line marketplace, with opportunities for off-line access and delivery. The successful candidate should be a creative, innovative, problem-solver, will have demonstrated experience securing partnerships, and a successful track record in marketing and distribution. The candidate will have a proven ability, above all else, to be a results-driven implementer.

The role is hybrid (telework/remote and/or short-term in-country visits). This is a task-based and results-oriented position requiring self-direction and efficient time-management. The person will operate across several time zones (Nepal, India, US-including East Coast and West Coast time zones). The ideal individual we be willing to be flexible in terms of working hours. This position will report to the HDI Country Director/Team Lead and collaborate/liaise with the HDI Co-Directors.

  • Collaborate with tech developers to integrate an on-line marketplace.
  • Collaborate with consortium partners and networks to expand the DTC approach.
  • Negotiate cross-promotions with potential partners for mutually beneficial aims.
  • Create a GOC ‘brand’ of products using social franchising principles and approaches.
  • Manage the marketing and promotion of DTC cross-promotions and GOC ‘brand’ of products.

Desired Experience:
