Digital Product Manager to lead an innovative digital initiative in Nepal
Howard Delafield International, LLP (HDI) is a behavioural insights consultancy, working around the globe and driving innovation to positively impact lives. We have built a direct-to-consumer digital platform for mobile games using discovery and play to empower young people to become active decision-makers in their own lives.
We are looking for a highly experienced Digital Product Manager for the adaptation and expansion of the Game of Choice, Not Chance™ (GOC) to Nepal. We are part of a USAID award for an Adolescent Reproductive Health (ARH) project led by CARE in collaboration with National Health Education, Information and Communication Center (NHEICC). HDI will create a youth-centric portal with multiple channels to reach adolescents to address agency and self-efficacy for adoption of healthy behaviours and to facilitate adolescents’ reproductive empowerment.
GOC is a digital platform for impact games using a novel, direct-to-consumer (DTC), mobile-first model to support adolescents in becoming active decision-makers in their own lives. Our games create entertaining and resourceful spaces for exploration and discovery through interactive, immersive role-play. Through gameplay, young people unlock the power of their choices, shape their futures, and safely experience the consequences of their actions. Instant access to vital information and real-world resources equips them to make healthy decisions, pursue their dreams, and realise their full potential.

About the Role:
The Digital Product Manager will support the Head of Products and the design, development, and research teams in adapting Go Nisha Go™ for adolescent girls in Nepal. This role will operate at the intersection of user research, game design, adolescent health, and product management. We are looking for an organised and responsible manager that pays acute attention to detail, has strong quantitative skills, and the ability to manage multiple duties, including across multiple time zones. This is a task-based and results-oriented position requiring self-direction and efficient time-management. The ideal individual we be willing to be flexible in terms of working hours. Hybrid/telecommute is negotiable. This position will report directly to the HDI Digital Products Head based in the region with in-direct reporting to the Nepal Country Director and GOC Team Lead.

What we are looking for:
Position: Full-time employee position, however, can be negotiated for as a contractor/ consultancy position. This assignment will begin with a one-year commitment with the potential to expand up to 5 years.
Salary: Negotiated based on salary history.
Languages: Excellent English and Nepali writing and speaking skills (Hindi comprehension desirable to understand the flagship GOC digital game).
