Qualification and Experience Required
The National Consultant should possess a solid educational and professional background. A master's degree or higher in Economics, Management, Public Administration, or Chartered Accountant or a closely related field is required. The candidate should have a minimum of three years of direct, hands-on experience in project analysis and evaluation within the public or private sector, with expertise in scrutinizing and assessing infrastructure projects. A deep understanding of and experience with analytical methodologies used in project evaluation is essential. Additionally, the candidate should have at least two years of work experience within or in collaboration with GON agencies, demonstrating familiarity with public sector processes and procedures. The ability to apply econometric and statistical techniques in project analysis is a key competency. The position requires a professional with proven training in Project Cycle Management Processes and Procedures. Fluency in English and Nepali, along with strong communication skills, is also a prerequisite. The ideal consultant will demonstrate a track record of working effectively in complex and fast-paced environments and show an aptitude for adapting to new projects and conceptual frameworks.
