Job Description

Yuganta School is seeking a passionate and skilled Music Teacher to join our team. The Music Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive music curriculum, teaching students of various age groups, and organizing musical performances and events.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging music lessons to students across different grade levels.
  • Teach music theory, history, appreciation, and practical skills such as singing, playing instruments, and music composition.
  • Plan and coordinate musical activities, rehearsals, and performances, including school concerts, recitals, and competitions.
  • Provide individual and group instruction to students, offering guidance and feedback to help them improve their musical abilities.
  • Select and maintain musical instruments, equipment, and resources for classroom use.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music into interdisciplinary projects and school events.
  • Assess student progress through performance evaluations, assessments, and examinations.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to share student progress, upcoming events, and opportunities for musical enrichment.
  • Stay updated on music education trends, techniques, and resources, and incorporate innovative teaching methods into lessons.
