Job Description

Main Objective: Supervise the implementation of the partners’ activities

TASKS AND RESPONSIBITIES:

Mission 1: To monitor and supervise the implementation of FSL activities of ACF with the partners

  • Revise and develop monitoring tools and guidelines for ACF’s food security and livelihood activities.
  • Coordinate monitoring activities with the other sectoral monitoring officers of ACF.
  • Ensure data coherence and reliability and participate in data analysis for monthly reporting

Mission 2: Prepare/ launch the implementation of Multi-sector activities with partner organizations

  • Actively participate in monitoring the process of selection and registration of beneficiaries with partners/community representatives
  • Participate in the creation of necessary training kit (for ACF and partner) for the implementation of the project
  • Participate in creation of appropriate tools for multi-sectoral program activity monitoring and multi-sectoral training delivery monitoring
  • Ensure the link between MHCP, WASH, FSL and Nutrition teams.

Mission 3: Ensure constant and efficient monitoring & evaluation of interventions of partner organizations.

  • Guide partners in the use of tools that capture quantitative and qualitative data to be utilized in monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
  • Monitor the implementation of the activities and/or trainings using appropriate tools.
  • Supervise the work progress through daily field visits.
  • Inform the Deputy Program Manager in case of difficulty with partners’ interventions in the field.

Contract Type : Fixed Term Contract
Contract End Date : 31 st December 2016
Basic Salary per month : NPR 52,636 plus (accommodation allowance which depends on localized/delocalized staff, transportation allowance, provident fund benefit and festival bonus)
