WorldLink is the largest Internet and Network Service Provider in Nepal and one of the most prominent IT companies. Founded in September 1995 with the aim of providing Internet and IT services by its present Chairman and Managing Director, Dileep Agrawal. WorldLink started off by providing store-and-forward e-mail services over a dial-up link to the Internet in the US. In March 1997, WorldLink started providing full Internet access over a dedicated leased-line to the Internet backbone in the US through Teleglobe International. From September 1999 till June 2008, WorldLink has been connecting to the Internet over a direct satellite uplink through its own VSAT terminal, thereby completely bypassing Nepal Telecommunications Corporation, the local PTT.

WorldLink serves households, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and enterprise clients. It is the fastest-growing private ISP in the country and has a presence in 67 districts out of country’s 77 districts. Currently Worldlink has around 300,000 household subscribers spread across the country. The company plans to reach all the local bodies by end of 2023.

Since 2012, WorldLink has rolled out a fibre to the home (FTTH) network, which it intends to expand across Province 3 and 4 towns and rural areas at affordable prices.

Key competencies and professional expertise requirement. 

  • Must have experience of developing reports on Power BI
  • Experience analyzing, validating, and reconciling large field data and exposure of using online portals and applications.
  • Advanced and proven MS Excel knowledge and skills.
  • Working knowledge of analytical software packages is an advantage.
  • Adaptability including proven ability in project advocacy, leading change, and overcoming resistance and setbacks.
  • Critical thinking, including proven ability to think creatively, conceptually, and analytically, and in the use of evidence as a basis for sound decision making.

Job Description

  • Understand the business data, business process & develop reports in Power-BI
  • Participate in the design and testing of the management information system
  • Analysis of data from the management information system, including reconciliation, monitoring and testing of real time data collection and reporting systems
  • Perform activities to enhance the culture of data use for performance improvement and decision making
  • Contribute to performance information analysis to identify under and outperforming areas with guidance from the HOD
  • Prepare and provide regular performance monitoring and management, progress, and ad hoc reports
  • Generate and distribute accurate management reports
  • Maintain business-related MIS reports – Daily and Monthly
