Job Description

Rosebud School is looking for a Middle School Social Studies Teacher for Grade 6, 7 and 8.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the school's curriculum and educational standards.
Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes students' participation and critical thinking.
Assess students' progress regularly through formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to students and parents/guardians.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary projects and activities that enhance students' understanding of social studies concepts.
Stay updated on current events, historical trends, and educational best practices related to social studies education.
Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously improve teaching skills and stay informed about new methodologies and technologies.
Help students develop the skills and strategies for scientific problem solving
Maintain discipline in the classroom.
