About the job

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirements.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and identify quality risks early in the development cycle.
Develop and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools like JIRA.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and potential quality issues.
Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and work with the development team to resolve them.
Continuously improve testing processes and contribute to the QA best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with performance and/or security testing.
Knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
ISTQB or other relevant certification is a plus.
