Medical Laboratory Technologist –Province Public Health Laboratory (PPHL)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform molecular and microbiological testing on a regular basis at PPHL. 
  • Strengthen quality assurance activity of PPHL for good laboratory services in Province labs including antiretroviral therapy (ART) site labs. 
  • Support for meeting, training, and workshops carried out by PPHL in close coordination with EpiC Nepal. 
  • Support on day-to-day operation of PPHL as per need basis. 
  • Support PPHL in laboratory assessments and preparation of reports. 
  • Support documentation and preparation of the standard operating procedures, guidelines, and procedure.
  • Participate and conduct supportive supervision and monitoring of laboratories and ART sites in Province.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory technology. 
  • Registration in Nepal Health Professional Council is mandatory. 
  • Prior work experience in microbiology/molecular laboratory.  
  • Demonstrate a high level of motivation and good communication, social interpersonal skills.
