Under the overall Supervision of Executive Director and direct supervision of Lab Head/Pathologist, the candidate will assist in providing laboratory service for the operation of Saraha Health Care and Research Centre. He /She will have the below duties and responsibilities and competencies;

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform collection, processing, reporting and recording of clinical specimen as per guidelines set by Governing bodies for routine tests.
• Maintenance of the stock for consumables
• Supervise the Lab Assistant/Lab Technician
• Ensure laboratory machines and instruments are maintained over time
• Ensure the test process well documented and results recorded.
• Maintain the confidentiality of the reports.
• Coordinate the special specimens transportation for referral labs
• Operate the laboratory database for entry and analysis of timely reports.
• Ensure the waste management and Bio-safety protocols followed strictly
• Ensure the quality measures for the testing’s undertaken. 
• Supervise the lab attendant to maintain the cleanliness of laboratory
• Assist Lab Manager to produce quality manuals and SOPs.
• Coordinate to  conduct health camps in the city
• Report to Laboratory Manager, In-charge and Pathologist.
• Assist the Laboratory In-charge and Pathologist 
• Support Laboratory Supervisor/Laboratory Manager for documentation
• Perform such other duties as may be required
