Under the overall Supervision of Executive Director and direct supervision of Lab Head/Pathologist, the candidate will assist in providing laboratory service for the operation of Saraha Health Care and Research Centre. He /She will have the below duties and responsibilities and competencies;

Duties and Responsibility:

• Assist in patient counseling and preparation of the patients for collection of specimen
• Perform collection, and processing, recording and reporting of clinical specimen for routine testings. 
• Maintenance of the record of the consumables used and report the In-charge for stock maintenance.
• Maintain the log of laboratory machines and instruments of each unit over time
• Record the test process and results in database and hard copy, maintain files well documented.
• Maintain the confidentiality of the reports.
• Follow the Safe microbiological work practice; Bio-safety  protocols to  follow strictly
• Operate the equipment for routine investigation 
• Follow the waste management guidelines.
• Supervise the lab helper to maintain the cleanliness of laboratory
•  Ensure the quality measures for the testing’s undertaken. 
• Assist in conducting health camps in the city
• Support Laboratory Supervisor/Laboratory Manager/In-charge for any special tests and documentation
• Perform such other duties as may be required
