Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Overseer to join our team at Furniture Hub. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the maintenance, repair, and operation of mechanical systems and machinery to ensure smooth production processes and optimal equipment performance.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and execution of mechanical maintenance activities.
Ensure that all mechanical repairs and maintenance are carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical systems to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and maintenance schedules.
Ensure the availability of necessary tools, equipment, and spare parts for maintenance tasks.
Participate in training and development programs for mechanical staff.
Assist in the preparation of maintenance budgets and cost estimates.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Factory Manager.

Required Education Level:Diploma Certificate

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and supervision.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals.
Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
The role may require working in production areas and outdoor sites.
May be required to work overtime, weekends, and on-call as needed.
